What is the Family First Scholarship Program?

At JAN-PRO Canada, we celebrate the remarkable hard work and accomplishments of our Certified Business Owners across the country. We firmly believe in empowering individuals and families to shape their futures and realize their dreams. To reflect this commitment, we are proud to offer the Your Family First Scholarship Program.

Since its launch in 2016, our program has granted over $86,000 in scholarships throughout Canada, providing financial support to Certified Business Owners, their spouses, or their dependent children undertaking undergraduate or graduate studies. As tuition costs continue to rise, we’re delighted to give back to our hard-working Canadian partners and assist them in creating a brighter future for their families.

Who can apply?

JAN-PRO welcomes applications from:

Certified Business Owners* of JAN-PRO Canada, their spouses, or dependent children.
Individuals intending to enroll full-time or part-time in a university, college, or vocational-technical program in the Fall.

*Note that Certified Business Owners’ employees and JAN-PRO Regional Franchisors (including their spouses, children, and employees) are not eligible to participate in this program.

How to apply

Begin by completing the form below. We’ll communicate with you primarily via email, so ensure your details are accurate and your inbox is regularly checked. Following your application, we’ll request your most recent transcript of grades and proof of enrollment for the fall 2023 term. The deadline for all submissions is July 28, 2023. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

Selection and notification

We carefully review all submissions and select finalists based on academic performance, leadership qualities, and the association with a Certified Business Owner. Applicants will be notified of their status by the end of August 2023. Every effort is made to award recipients by September 30th, 2023. If unforeseen circumstances arise, winners will be duly notified.

Scholarship payment

We process and distribute scholarships in a single installment on or before September 30, 2023*. Recipients are required to notify us of any changes and provide official transcripts and/or proof of enrollment when requested.

*All offices do their best to award recipients by September 30, 2023. If that can not be attained, winners will be notified and explained the process.

Scholarship revisions

We continuously review the Your Family First Scholarship Program’s conditions and procedures and may make changes at any time, including termination of the program. Be sure to apply today!
